Terms of Service

Welcome to ThisKrit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ThisKrit platform provided by Thiskrit Ltd. By creating an account or using ThisKrit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

ThisKrit is currently a free private beta. There is no paid plan, and the Service may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn while it remains in beta. Thiskrit Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 16760043, Oxford, United Kingdom.

These Terms cover your use of the ThisKrit mobile app and this website. How we handle your personal data is governed separately by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You must be at least 16 years old to use ThisKrit. If you are aged 13–15 in the United Kingdom, you may only use ThisKrit with the express written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

ThisKrit is not for anyone under 13. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete the data and terminate the account.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must verify your email address when you sign up.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

ThisKrit exists for authentic, respectful connection. You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or misleading content.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Distribute spam, malware, or engage in fraudulent activity.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform.

You retain ownership of the content you create on ThisKrit. By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and display it to the audience you choose, solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not use your content to build profiles of you, and we do not share it with advertisers.

You are responsible for the content you share and must have the necessary rights to share it.

A Space is a private audience you own. Only you post into a Space you created, and every member must already be one of your connections. Space owners are responsible for who they admit, and all members remain bound by these Terms. We may remove Spaces or content that violate these Terms.

The ThisKrit name, logo, software, and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without prior written permission.

You may stop using ThisKrit and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if necessary to protect the platform and its users. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will end.

When an account is deleted, its data is removed from our live systems immediately; backups may retain it for up to 30 days for disaster recovery, after which every copy is permanently deleted. The licence you grant in section 5 continues only for as long as we still hold that content. Full detail is on our account deletion page.

ThisKrit is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to keep the platform reliable and secure, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thiskrit Ltd, its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of ThisKrit after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
