Delete your account
You're always in control of your data. Here's exactly how to delete your ThisKrit account and what happens to your information.
Delete from the app
The quickest way to delete your account is directly in the ThisKrit app: go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.

Open Settings
In the ThisKrit app, tap your profile, then the gear icon to open Settings.

Choose “Delete Account”
Under Account, select Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm before anything is removed.

Confirm deletion
Review what will be removed and confirm. Your account and its data are deleted from our live systems immediately — this cannot be undone.
Can’t access the app?
Email us from your registered address and we’ll handle it for you.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, username, and bio
- Your posts, Stories, and comments
- Your Spaces membership and messages
- Your connections
- Your account credentials and settings
Data retention timeline
Account & live data
Your account, profile, and content are deleted from our live systems the moment you confirm.
Backups
Backups may retain data for up to 30 days for disaster recovery. After that, every copy is permanently deleted.
IP logs
Retained for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
Crash reports
Retained for debugging app stability issues.
Server logs
General server-side request logging.
Logs contain metadata only — timestamps, IP addresses, and error messages — never the content of your posts or messages.
Our privacy commitment
We never sell your personal data. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our live systems immediately. Backups may retain it for up to 30 days for disaster recovery — after that, every copy is permanently deleted. Once you confirm deletion, your account cannot be recovered.
